Michael Meyer joined Karlin, Fleisher & Falkenberg, LLC in July 2017 and focuses his practice on representing the rights of injured persons in medical malpractice, nursing home, wrongful death, and other personal injury cases throughout both Illinois and Indiana. Recognized by his peers as an Illinois “Emerging Lawyer” – a distinction granted to fewer than 2% of those attorneys who are age 40 or younger or have been practicing law for 10 years or less – Michael also has extensive experience working on legal malpractice and attorney disciplinary matters. Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked at a civil litigation firm in Chicago and has participated in trials, mediations, administrative hearings, and appeals.

Michael graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2014. During law school, he was consistently named to the Dean’s List and received CALI Awards for Excellence in Constitutional Law and Advanced Legal Writing: Illinois Litigation. Michael also served on the Executive Board of the Annals of Health Law and participated in Loyola’s moot court program, winning best speaker at the Andrews Kurth Moot Court National Championship in 2014.
